He further probed the future scope of bilateral trade and ensured that the Embassy is working on the future development of trade and investment between India and Sudan.

The Embassy hosted a “Networking Meet with the Visiting Indian Commercial Delegation” on November 16 at Hotel Kanon to explore fostering business alliances. The event was attended by prominent Sudanese businesspeople from a range of industries, business facilitators, government officials, and members of several trade associations. In addition, Mr. Murtada Mehdi, a business facilitator and importer of agricultural machinery, and Mr. Badurddin Abdul Maroof, secretary general of the Union of Chambers of Commerce, commented on the business opportunities in Khartoum. The ambassador congratulated the business delegation on their agreements with Sudanese businesses.
